Project Area Manager Battery Cell (all genders)

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. The operations takes care of all operations related activities within the battery cell manufacturing. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of corporate product.

  
 
How you will CELLebrate
  • Supervision and controlling of operations activities to ensure the target achievement of delivering Production Area on time, in budget, in scope
  • Steering of all activties with related Value Stream Managers, tracking of milestones, cost, tracking the execution of tasks (incl. external suppliers) and the implementation of decisions, mitigation meassures
  • Development of countermeasures to reduced likelihood of risks and mitigation strategies
  • Creation, implementation and management of an effective stakeholder management for the rollout project including communications with external partners and suppliers
  • Managing resources and ensuring efficient utilization of project management tools (e.g. project plan, risk management, change management, documentation and reporting)
  • Reporting to the Board of PowerCo Management and relevant project steering comittees
  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • University degree or comparable education in science or techn. field
  • 10 years professional experience in Project Management within Operations
  • Strong leadership skills to steer a matrix organization multidisciplinary
  • Self-initiative, analytic, systematic, team player, networker within a matrix organization.  
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluent in english

  • Experience in the automotive or battery sector 
  • Other language skills like Chinese or Spanish
