The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Develop, scout and transfer technical processes for battery production scrap recycling from the first idea to mass production
  • Create development projects, concepts, process flows, benchmarks and specifications for battery production scrap recycling and further recycling feedstock
  • Elaborate requests for different technology readiness levels of machine and infrastructure and work with interfacing departments (planning, purchasing, building, quality...)
  • Self-responsibly plan, supervise and execute projects in the field of process development for battery production scrap recycling
  • Continuously improve existing processes with a strong focus on production costs, sustainability effects and product quality
  • Carry out process/machine trials and prepare machine acceptance test (internal and external)
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Completed studies in the field of process engineering (chemical, mechanical, others), mechanical engineering, chemistry, recycling technology or similar studies
  • Experience with recycling technology, process development, battery material and cell production
  • Detailed problem-solving skills for technical and organizational tasks
  • Innovative thinking and thinking ahead
  • Good overview of the players and processes active in the battery recycling business
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
