The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Development, planning and operating of a pilotline for Li-Ionen Cells
  • Product development, process develepment, supporting planning activities, full responsibility for operations
  • Planning, conducting and conclusion of trials for product and process develepment in pilotline scale
  • Responsible for the interface between lab scale and production scale
  • Operation of electrodes, for example slurry mixing and electrode coating for anodes and cathodes
  • Calandering cutting/stamping, welding of electrodes, stacking, housing, filling, formation and aging of battery cells  
  • Continually improving of state-of-the-art processes and matching with interdisciplinary teams of developers
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Degree of engineering in process technology with specialisation in natural sciences, chemistry or compareable studies
  • Experience of several years in process technology for manufacturing battery cells from laboratory scale to mass production scale
  • Experience of several years in measurement technology for battery cell electrodes
  • Skilled in teamwork
  • Confident appearance and high level of motivation with strong assertiveness
  • English skills B2
