The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 


How you will CELLebrate

• Developing and identifying procedures and processes for recycling, processing, dismantling as well as preparing the transport of HV batteries and production scrap of the battery cell production
• Developing and evaluating documents (requirements, concepts, benchmarking, project contents, procurement documents) on the subject of recycling of HV batteries and production scrap
• Planing, supporting and implementing projects on battery recycling concepts, on effort determination, on process optimization and on profitability analysis
• Continuous improvement of state-of-the-art processes, particularly improvement of production costs and emissions as well as optimizing of the product quality 

• Performing preliminary tests and commissioning of machines from the first functional model up to the series production line
• Close coordination in interdisciplinary teams (planing, product development, quality management)


What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in process eningeering (e.g. chemical engineering), mechanical engingeering, environmental engineering, waste management or similar education

  • Experienced in the topic of recycling
  • Experienced in battery active materials
  • Advanced experienced in the topic of process development 
  • Understanding of the interdependencies between process and product
