The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.

• Active communication with all potential inventors in the company for early identification of inventions

• Support and advice to developers and inventors in all matters of intellectual property rights

• Independent processing of invention disclosures and patent applications as well as examination notices

• State-of-the-art research as well as "freedom to operate" analysis

• Supervision of oppositions and nullity proceedings, if necessary in cooperation with external patent attorneys

• Completed studies in chemistry, materials science, physics or a comparable field, preferably with knowledge in the field of battery cells
• First professional experience as a patent professional in an industrial patent department or in a patent law firm
• Analytical approach and detailed as well as team-oriented way of working
• High level of commitment and flexibility
• Very good knowledge of German and English

• Admission as a patent assessor or professional representative before the European Patent Office 

• Flexible working hours from 28 to 40h per week
