The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Responsibility for the control and development of the mechanical components
  • Intensive cooperation with development team and suppliers
  • Participation in the design and definition of test scopes
  • Planning, preparation and execution of component releases as well as control of change scopes 
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed technical studies such as mechanical engineering or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in component development in the automotive environment
  • Sound knowledge in the field of battery systems, modules or cells
  • Practical experience in the operation of CAD programs
  • Good written and spoken English and German
 

What else can you bring

  • Knowledge of the product development process of the VW Group
  • Professional experience in the field of batteries or battery cells
  • Willingness to travel internationally
