Master's thesis: Evaluation of concepts for thickness measurement of electrodes

The Corporate Quality department is responsible for all of PowerCo's quality activities, with responsibilities ranging from the development of quality policy and quality targets to ensuring the company's certification capability and quality management at suppliers worldwide.

  
 
How you will CELLebrate
  • Experimental and theoretical evaluation of different measurement methods for measuring the thickness of battery electrodes
  • Development of suitable comparison criteria and application of the same
  • Variation of influencing variables and evaluation of the results
  • Investigation of error patterns and applicability of the methods
  • Deriving recommendations for action and creating a report to document the results
  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of engineering or natural sciences with above-average grades
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Sound knowledge of geometric measurement methods
  • First experience with practical measurement setups and measurement execution
  
 
What else can you bring
  • First practical experience in the automotive or battery industry 
  • Structured way of working and good communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative and willingness to learn
