With whom you will CELLebrate
The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
- Evaluate new and already commercialized Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cathode materials and design cathode electrodes to match the requirements from our customer specifications
- Plan and execute experiments together with our development team. Plan and carry out efficient experimental campaigns that provide relevant information about LFP materials and give recommendations for their implementation into the battery cell.
- Carry out detailed investigations to find causative relationships between material properties of LFP materials, e.g., particle size distribution, carbon content, surface area, and how they affect battery cell performance
- Characterize LFP cathode materials by chemical, physical, and electrochemical methods and figure out means to predict cell performance based on material testing
- Lead technical discussions with LFP material suppliers. Stay up to date regarding the newest developments in LFP material technology and align these with PowerCo’s targets
What you need for our CELLebration

- Practical experience in battery cell development, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Proven track record in LFP materials
- Strong analytical competence and outstanding ability to work in a team.
- High degree of self-initiative and target orientation.
- Communicative skills in an interdisciplinary and international working environment.
- Business fluent English language skills
What else can you bring
- German language skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
What to look forward to
- Flexible working hours from 28 to 40h per week
- Possibility of a 4-day-week (up to 35h per week)
- 30 days paid + 10 days unpaid leave
- Mobile work options
- Relocation support
- More benefits to come
We believe that the best results are created in a diverse and inclusive environment.
