Internship of Strategic Volume Planning (all genders)

 
Who we are

The mission has begun. We are proud to announce that we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp-up of our global headquarters for global cell production in our Battery Valley. The tasks and requirements of product management are diverse. The division is responsible for all activities related to the development and industrialization of battery cells. The tasks range from the creation of technology roadmaps and portfolio planning to volume and cycle plan planning and holistic program management for global battery projects.

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities
  • Support in long-term strategic volume planning for PowerCo's product strategy
  • Structuring, abstraction and analysis of the complex decision-making process in strategic volume planning
  • Independent conception and prototyping of mathematical optimization models for planning tasks in strategic volume planning
  • Support of project management for internal and external meetings
  • Support strategic decision-making and planning based on data-driven insights
  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Student (Master's program) in the fields of industrial engineering, business administration, information systems management or comparable subjects
  • Advanced knowledge of operations research, especially mathematical optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate market trends, customer data, and product maturity
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent team spirit, good communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of the lithium-ion market and technology to make informed decisions (such as understanding product capabilities and limitations)
  • Willingness to take responsibility and work independently on small projects
