The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
- Investigation of design changes / design adaptions of the extrusion screw for the dry coating process on the properties of the resulting granules for the dry coating process
- Set-up of a simulation environment and simulation cooperations with external institutes / universities
- Simulation of different screw geometries and identification of the resulting mechanical forces on the battery materials during the kneading process in the extrusion machine
- Analysis and evaluation of the results with the goal to derive a force-optimized screw design to enable a mild fibrillation of the binder
- Ordering the processing of the Screw at a partner of PowerCo
What you need for our CELLebration
- Students (Bachelor's or Master's studies) of a degree program with in a technical field with a focus on process engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, information technology or similiar
- First experience in the area of mechanical simulation
- Good knowledge of English
- Duration: 6 months
