Internship ESS Development Electronics (all genders)
The mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in our Battery Valley and ramping up our global headquarters for global cell production. This includes ESS (Energy Storage System) and non-automotive applications. The ESS organisation takes care of the upstream storage value chain. Our responsibilities include research, pre-development of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analyses of ESS components & storage systems.
Support in the development and improvement of simulation models of stationary energy storage systems. Performing simulations using MATLAB/Simulink to evaluate the performance and lifetime of energy storage systems under different operating conditions. Documenting the results of the simulations and the analyses carried out in the form of reports or presentations. Researching current studies and technologies in the field of energy storage to deepen the understanding of current trends and challenges. Programming scripts to automate simulation processes or to analyze results. Supporting the validation of simulation models by comparing them with real data or by testing them on prototypes. Contribute to the optimization of energy storage systems, including the investigation of operational strategies and the analysis of economics and efficiency
Student in the field of energy technology, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field Sound knowledge of Matlab/Simulink very good English language skills Knowledge of battery technologies and energy storage principles
Opportunity to shape the future of e-mobility in a fast-growing and international environment Flat hierarchy Mobile work options Shuttle Bus Corporate Benefits
Therefore, all qualified applications will be considered for employment regardless of age, race, religion, gender (identity), sexual orientation, national origin or disability.
