Internship Cell Development Labs

 
Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production.The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities

• Supporting the development of new cell chemistries on a laboratory scale
• Accompanying and experiencing the cell manufacturing process from powder to cell
• Conducting laboratory tests for the production of lithium-ion batteries
• Planning and carrying out test series for the process transfer of different mixing devices
• Developing/adapting methods and documents for quality assurance in the cell manufacturing process

  
 
What you bring to the team

• Enrolled student in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, or related technical course.
• Initial experience in the field of energy storage systems or quality management through studies, projects or internships preferred.
• Basic analytical skills and an understanding of design of experiments and data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel/VBA is an advantage.
