Intern in Operations Cost Excellence (all genders)

Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Operations department takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

Your role and key responsibilities

Support overhead and investment cost tracking, analysis, and reporting
Support the preparation and validation of cost-related data and reports
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify cost topics and align assumptions
Help identify manual and repetitive tasks and design automation solutions using Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate
Contribute to improving data quality, reporting structures, and documentation
Participate in reviewing existing processes and share suggestions for optimization
Contribute to interdisciplinary initiatives and a collaborative team environment

What you bring to the team

Enrolled Bachelor or Master student (analytical or quantitative background preferred)
Strong interest in operations, data, and process improvement
Very good Excel skills; experience or strong interest in Power BI and Power Automate
Structured, proactive, and reliable working style
High intrinsic motivation and willingness to learn
Comfortable working independently and with multiple stakeholders
Fluent in English; German is a plus
