The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Technical management in-house method development for the analysis of battery cells: chemical, physical and imaging methods for raw materials and electrolyte, electrodes, housing components, complete cells, cell openings
  • Close cooperation with the method managers of the analytical laboratory
  • Close cooperation with the cell development department to ensure needs-based method development
  • Ensuring the use of state-of-the-art economic analysis techniques
  • Worldwide benchmarking activities with other laboratories and cell manufacturers
  • Establishment of a national and international network of institutes and service provider laboratories
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Completed technical/university degree, e.g. in chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, physics, chemical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • In-depth expertise in the field of Li-ion battery cell development and analysis
  • Several years of international professional experience in the field of Li-ion battery cell development and analysis in the battery cell industry
  • Above-average ability to work in a team
  • Communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
  • Fluent in English
