IT Production Solution Engineer (all genders)

 
Who we are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization.
 

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain IT solutions to support manufacturing processes
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure IT solutions meet performance and quality standards
  • Integrate MES (Manufacturing Execution System) with shopfloor equipment and other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP), optimize data flows and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT Production solutions fulfill business objectives
  • Support the commissioning of machines during factory ramp-ups
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues to minimize production downtimes and maximize business continuity
  • Stay up to date with the latest IT production technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements
  • Provide training and support to end users on features/best practices
  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, automation/electrical engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience with MES in manufacturing environments (development /maintenance and operation) with both IT and OT (e.g. ERP, SCADA, PLC, machine commissioning)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C#) and data bases (SQL, noSQL)  
  • Strong problem solving/analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  
 
What makes you stand out

•    Master’s degree in computer science, automation/electrical engineering or a related field
•    Certification in MES or related technologies
•    Experience with Industry 4.0 and IoT technologies
