Who we are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. The operations takes care of all operations related activities within the battery cell manufacturing. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of corporate product.

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities
  • Leading and coordinating the Program Planning & Customer Claim Management team
  • Leading of monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations-Planning)-commitee with central and local PowerCo factory stakeholders to check over if customer demands can be fulfilled by production capacity of PowerCo plants and supplier performance
  • Creation of scenarios & approval of strategies (in case of exception handling) and preparation of documents for several committees including PowerCo-board to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled 
  • Steer and coordinate all customer claims with relevant interface departments, such as quality department, finance & others
  • Conduct the communication to several internal interfaces and contacts within Volkswagen Group Logistics & Group Components (ensuring that all customer demands are correctly planned on a midterm horizon for the car production network)
  • Steering the process of creating, definition and implementation of processes and required IT-landscape for all program planning functions including standardization
  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Completed university degree (or doctorate) e.g. in the field of natural sciences, computer science, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable training
  • Relevant and verifiable management experience (disciplinary and technical)
  • In-depth professional experience in the automotive or battery industry
  • Sound professional experience in the field of Program Planning & Customer Claim Management
  • Strong ability to work in a team and a high degree of initiative
  • Skills in communication and collaboration with business partners in English
