The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
- Lead of Mechanical Design sub-department within series development of cells
- Responsible for mechanical design of series development cells for various cell projects from concept phase to industrialization
- Responsible for mechanical design releases as well as mechanical component releases
- Define product and mechanical sub-component requirements based on customer specifications, taking into account functional safety, quality, current state of the art and future trends
- Ensure design and functionality by means of mechanical and thermal simulation tools
- Define, calculate and release cells and its components based on tolerance analysis and thermo-mechanical stress testing
- Responsible for BMG and B-release of subcomponents
- Carry out resource planning, management and control
What you need for our CELLebration
- Degree in in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
- Leadership experience
- Professional experience in battery cell production
- Good communication skills in an international and intercultural environment – willingness to travel internationally
- Business fluent in English
