The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
- Management and Control of product quality issues in the battery cell PEP projects
- Definition of the product quality tasks in the battery cell PEP
- Preventive quality work in battery cells PEP
- Implementation of product releases and project approval/project relief
- Cross-functional responsibility for the control and processing of corrective actions to ensure SOP target achievement
- Further development, coordination and decision-making of overarching quality methods and concepts to achieve goals in the projects and in PowerCo SE
- Continuous communication of the maturity development of the components in the PowerCo SE committees and to the customer
What you need for our CELLebration
- Degree in engineering in the field of mechanical engineering, production technology, materials science, chemistry or comparable qualification
- Experienced manager with personnel responsibility. At least 10 years of professional experience
- Experience in global corporations or large medium-sized companies (> 3,000 employees)
- Experience in the automotive or chemical industry preferred
- At least one professional station with a focus on quality is desired (QM, supplier quality, etc.)
- Profound English and German language capabilities
- Experience in product companies preferred
- Experience in transformation projects
- Leadership experience in project and line functions
- Product start-up experience, preferably also globally
- Willingness to spend short periods abroad (up to four weeks)
- IT affinity
- Able to act constructively and in a leading manner in heterogeneous groups, even without authority to issue instructions
- High frustration tolerance
- Willingness for new topics and new solutions
- Able to remain able to act in complex situations
- Be able to penetrate and structure complex issues, develop solution proposals and prepare decision templates for management decisions
