The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 

  
 
How you will CELLebrate
  • Performing CE marking conformity assessments as well as risk assessments for various types of battery cell production machines on fire/ explosion-related concerns
  • Breaking down the fire/ explosion protection concept at machine level and defining economic measures
  • Cooperating with suppliers in the design phase, construction phase and installation phase
  • Checking existing documentation, ensuring all relevant information exists and is in compliance with applicable legislative requirements
  • Providing recommendations for eliminating or controlling the risk associated to each identified hazard
  • Defining action plans to ensure the assessed industrial machines are safe and comply with all relevant directives and standards
  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • Minimum of 3 years experience on industrial fire and explosion protection 
  • Thorough understanding of machine safety regulations in relation to fire and explosion protection (e.g. ATEX) 
  • Experience in evaluation, design and implementation of safety measures 
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Intercultural competence and self-confidence in an international environment
  
 
What else can you bring
  • Experience in offering consultancy on CE marking compliance assessments for industrial machines
  • German language skills
  • Knowledge in the field of battery cell production with a focus on manufacturing processes and plant engineering
