The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
Identification of strategic risks in the entire pre-material chain of cell production and coordination with the responsible departments. Supplier evaluation with regard to possible risks (e.g. financial, geo/political, sustainability, supply chain law, currency influences, ...) and derivation of possible fields of action for current and future awarding of contracts Evaluation of potential suppliers with regard to risk factors according to defined regulations Participation in the further development of methods, procedures and benchmarks - Analyses of existing risk management concepts Participation in cross-functional teams consisting of purchasers, value stream specialists, cost analysts and other experts Preparing of early risk analyses and their evaluations as well as the implementation and follow-up of measures Preparing of decision papers for decision-making bodies and support in the roll-out of the PowerCo worldwide
Professional experience in cooperation with service providers on an international level Several years of Experience in the cooperation and / or management of cross-functional teams
