Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

Your role and key responsibilities

Supervision and implementation of safety tests on lithium-ion battery cells
Definition of test standards
Method development
Test responsibility in pre-development and series projects
Data analysis

What you bring to the team

Studies (or doctorate) in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or natural sciences
First practical experience with safety tests
Knowledge of international (battery) safety standards
Enthusiasm for testing and new technologies
Hands-on mentality
Very good knowledge of English

What makes you stand out

First experience with lithium-ion batteries
Professional experience in the automotive industry
Experience in Matlab and/or other data analysis tools
Analytical skills
Good communication skills in an international and intercultural environment

What to look forward to

Flexible working hours from 28 to 40h per week
Possibility of a 4-day-week (up to 35h per week)
