The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
Ensuring capacity provision in the long and medium term for selected component scopes over the entire lifecycle Adjustment of capacity requirements to strategic supply risks and to changing framework conditions Managing the trade-off between maximising security of supply and avoiding the costs of capacity adjustment Participation in the further development of methods, procedures and benchmarks - Analyses of existing capacity management concepts Participation in cross-functional teams consisting of purchasers, value stream specialists, cost analysts and other experts Preparation of early risk analyses and their evaluation as well as implementation and follow-up of measures Preparation of decision papers for decision-making bodies and support in the roll-out of the PowerCo worldwide
Professional experience in cooperation with service providers on an international level Several years of Experience in the cooperation and / or management of cross-functional teams
