Expert Trade Compliance - Export Controls/Customs (all genders)

 
Who we are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities
  • Design and development of export control and customs processes in a young, dynamic company
  • Maintenance and further development of our export control policy
  • Monitoring of legal requirements in export control and customs law and implementation of changes into company processes
  • Conducting sanctions list screenings and initiating necessary measures
  • Classification of goods used within the PowerCo Group
  • Advising departments on export control and customs-related matters
  • Reviewing contracts with regard to export control and customs law aspects
  • Participation in import projects and ensuring their legal compliance
  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Completed studies with a focus on law or business administration, or completed commercial training with a corresponding additional qualification
  • In-depth professional experience in the field of export control (knowledge of German, EU, and US export control regulations)
  • Passion for diving into complex issues and solving them
  • Business fluent in German and English
