The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
- Technology scouting for manufacturing processes and machines for li-ion battery cell manufacuting, scouting for future battery technologies
- Comparison with applied manufacturing technologies regarding benefits for costs, scrap rate, quality, product design features
- Administration of technology roadmap for manufacturing processes and machines incl. regular update of the roadmap (involving cell development requests)
- Roll-out of new process sequences for the various standard factory generations based on released process flows
- Preparation of strategy meetings (review/ release of processes,…) and the belonging decision memos
What you need for our CELLebration
- Completed graduate degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or any natural scientific study
- Analytical understanding in the comparative systematic analysis of technologies with clear presentation of pros and cons (e.g. costs, quality)
- Deep understanding in the interaction between process and product
- High degree of proactive acting and innovation capacity
- Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
- Fluent business English
