The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of Corporate Quality are varied. The unit is responsible for all quality related activities of PowerCo SE ranging from the development of the quality strategy and targets over safeguarding the certification readiness to the global supplier management.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Safeguard Quality of the components in the development phase up to sampling and release
  • Cross-plant series support Quality of components at suppliers
  • Assessment of suppliers in the award process with regard to their quality capability and production competence in coordination with purchasing specialist
  • Steering of the quality requirements for the product as well as implementation of corrective measures to achieve Targets 
  • Planning of cross-functional preventive quality actions including audits in the project and conducting the relevant release audits at the supplier
  • Responsibility for the industrialization of the components at the supplier and ensuring the degree of maturity through regular supplier visits on site
  • Cross-functional responsibility for definition and implementation of corrective actions at the supplier in the event of a complaint
  • Further development, coordination and decision-making of overarching quality methods and concepts for the achievement of the Q-targets in the projects and in PowerCo SE
  • Continuous communication of the maturity status of the components in the PowerCo SE committees and at the supplier
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, materials science, chemistry or comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in quality management / supplier quality engineering
  • Solid knowledge of the normative foundations of the automotive or chemical industry (ideally certification as an auditor)
  • Experience in the field of electromobility and battery cells
  • Above-average ability to work in a team
  • Business fluency in English
  • Confident appearance, assertiveness and initiative
  • Willingness to travel

  • Solid knowledge in the field of structured error analysis (Six Sigma, Shainin, etc.)
