With whom you will CELLebrate

The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

How you will CELLebrate

  • Simulating the performance of the next generation of batteries in e-mobility applications
  • Coordinating, analyzing and evaluating detailed experiments and battery testing on automotive and laboratory scale to gain electrochemical properties of electrodes and materials
  • Parametrizing and calibrating electrochemical models for battery simulation
  • Comparing of experiments and simulation and in-depth evaluation of accuracy and predictability
  • Developing new models and methods for the detailed description of physical and chemical processes in batteries including thermal and mechanical behavior
  • Evaluating and analyzing simulation results to optimize electrode and material properties as part of the development process
  • Developing suitable measurement methods for testing the battery behavior and validation of the simulation models
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal development teams and external partners
