The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. This includes ESS (Energy Storage System) & non-automotive applications. The ESS organization takes care of the upstream storage value chain. Our responsibility includes research, pre-development of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of ESS components & storages.
How you will CELLebrate
- Preparation and maintenance of requirements documentation as well as in the implementation of requirements analyses for stationary battery storage projects in close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams.
- Create, maintain, and manage requirements documents and specifications.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with requirements throughout the project cycle.
- Conducting risk analyses and assessing safety requirements in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Assist in conducting testing and validation to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Monitoring and analysis of market developments and new technologies in the field of battery storage and their impact on product safety.
- Support in the preparation and implementation of certification processes and audits.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for requirements management in the field of stationary battery storage.
What you need for our CELLebration
- Knowledge of battery technologies, charging algorithms and energy storage principles
- In-depth knowledge of the development processes and functional safety design of software according to ASPICE to ensure compliance with ISO 26262, Cyber Security ISO/SAE21434 and other relevant security standards
- Experience in the preparation of FMEAs and in CE/UL conformity management.
- Extensive knowledge of requirements management tools
- Previous work experience in on-grid or off-grid energy storage projects
- In-depth knowledge of battery storage technologies and market trends, including lithium-ion technology and other storage systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a challenging environment
- At least 10 years of proven experience in series development
- Fluent in English
