The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Gathering, analyzing, verifying and validating the requirements for the series development of battery cells 
  • Cross-discipline coordination of requirement assessment 
  • Deriving specifications of cell sub-components and alignment with different stake holders (development, production, quality, etc.)
  • Assessing the impact of requirement changes as well as documentation and communication of changes to the engineering teams
  • Ensuring conformity with laws, regulations and standards of a legal nature as well as internal company guidelines for the use of battery cells
  • Providing release recommendations, e.g. for level releases and performing change management in the respective development stages
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Technical/university degree, e.g. in electrochemistry, materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, electrical engineering or chemical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in requirements engineering in the automotive field
  • Experience in the use of requirements management software (e.g. DOORS)
  • Highly structured and responsible way of work 
  • Outstanding ability to work in a team
  • Business fluent in English
 

What else can you bring

  • Profound knowledge in the areas of battery cells, cell components, battery materials and battery systems
  • Project management experience in Li-ion battery cell development
  • High degree of self initiative and target orientation
