The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of Corporate Quality are varied. The unit is responsible for all quality related activities of PowerCo SE ranging from the development of the quality strategy and targets over safeguarding the certification readiness to the global supplier management.

  
 
How you will CELLebrate
  • Managing corporate product quality issues in battery cell projects (in pre-development, series development and series manufacturing transfer processes)
  • Implementing of quality requirements into the project specifications
  • Identifying potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Planning of the structural and procedural organization, piloting of new processes and implementation in series processes
  • Defining and further development of methods, relevant to corporate product quality (process and methods)
  • Collaborating in cross-functional teams from cell development, manufacturing and supply chain
  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • Degree in in chemistry, electrochemistry, material science, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of quality and process management preferrable in the automotive or chemical industry
  • Very good understanding of quality methods (e. g. Control Plan, FMEA, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, 8D, Lessons Learned) and knowledge of automotive VDA standard
  • Project management experience
  • Effective communication skills in an international and intercultural environment – willingness to travel
  • Business fluent English skills
  
 
What else can you bring
  • Experience in battery cells
  • Project Management and VDA certificates
  • Fluency in German is a plus
