The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Regulatory Compliance Oversight: Manage global regulations for lithium-ion battery products
  • Documentation Control: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for product compliance, including technical documentation, test reports, and certifications.
  • Collaborate with R&D: Work closely with the R&D team to integrate compliance considerations into the product development cycle.
  • Audits and inspections: Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to assess and verify compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Improve compliance processes and keep pace with evolving industry standards and regulatory updates
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, chemical engineering or a related field or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience working with lithium-ion battery technologies with a deep understanding of their chemistry and behavior.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC 62133, UN 38.3 and ISO 26262, EU Battery Regulation. Canadian and U.S. Regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of global lithium-ion battery regulations, including but not limited to CE, UL, and FCC requirements
  • Strong project management skills in successfully managing projects related to product compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with certifications for electric vehicle applications is an advantage
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
