The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Responsibilty for the sale of revenue-generating recyclable materials and for the procurement of productive operating materials, such as productive fluids, industrial gas, water, etc. 
  • Independent execution of supplier inquiries and price negotiations, as well as conclusion of individual orders and other agreements are part of your daily tasks
  • Presenting of procurement strategies and negotiation results to the PowerCo procurement committees
  • Managing and optimizing contracts In coordination with stakeholders
  • Establishing, maintenance and management of strategic service providers 
  • Contributing your expertise to the definition of strategies and processes
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed studies in the technical or commercial field or other comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in the processing of recyclable materials and consumables, ideally from a procurement point of view
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills 
  • Affinity for numbers and measurable results 
  • Strategic thinking and forward-looking action 
  • High sense of responsibility and self-organization
  • Familiar with MS Office applications and have business-fluent German and English skills
