The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering. 

  
 
How you will CELLebrate
  • Responsibility for the proper processing of procurement orders for IT hardware and software, IT services, etc.
  • Obtaining and analysing offers and carrying out all preparatory and accompanying coordination with the business units
  • Independently monitoring and analysing the international IT procurement markets
  • Initiating, preparing, drawing up and monitoring tenders on the market
  • Checking technical tender documents for completeness and feasibility
  • Creating and analysing price comparisons
  • Independently conducting commercial negotiations
  • Collecting, analysing and comparing offers and preparing procurement decisions
  • Moderating procurement processes in the respective procurement committees
  • Processing resource and spare parts requests as well as change requests 
  • Dealing with bottleneck situations
  • Identifying measures for internal and external cost optimisation and supporting the implementation of derived optimisation measures
  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • University degree in economics, industrial engineering or in a comparable field
  • Professional experience in IT Purchasing and IT Contract Management
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Affinity for numbers and measurable results
  • Pronounced strategic thinking skills
  • High sense of responsibility, Strong organizational skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
