The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
How you will CELLebrate
- Procurement of services for indirect procurement area
- Independent execution of supplier inquiries and prices negotiations as well as conclusion of individual orders and framework agreements
- Presentation of procurement strategies and negotiation results in procurement committees of PowerCo SE and Volkswagen
- Management and optimization of contracts in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Development, maintenance, and management of strategic suppliers for services
What you need for our CELLebration
- Successfully completed studies in commercial field or relevant professional experience with similar qualifications
- Professional experience in service procurement
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Affinity for numbers and measurable results
- Strategic thinking and anticipatory acting
- High sense of responsibility and strong self-organization skills
- Confident use of MS Office
- Business fluent in English
