The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Price negotiations with local and international suppliers
  • Supporting the business unit in communication to suppliers in terms of date-, cost- and demand situation
  • Identificating of new or alternative sources of supply
  • Contributing to fulfilling the sourcing for all battery plants in ramp up
  • Contributing to establishing purchasing pocesses as well as system processes
  • Presenting of strategies and results in sourcing committees
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • University degree in economics, industrial engineering or in a comparable field 
  • Several years of professional experience in Purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Affinity for numbers and measurable results
  • Competent use of MS Office software 
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills, also as strong organizational and strategic thinking skills
  • High sense of responsibility
