The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
How you will CELLebrate
- Taking over central governance as well as the strategic conception and further development of committee management
- Ensuring highly efficient, smart and fully digitalised decision-making processes at all hierarchical levels within PowerCo Procurement
- Identifying areas for action and optimisation potential in the existing committee landscape and initiating optimisation projects
- Regular comparison and adjustment of the committee landscape with strategy initiatives and ongoing process and structural optimisations
- Product ownership and project responsibility for the digitalisation of the committee landscape through the further development of existing and the design of new IT systems
- Proactive development of strategic projects, including the design of customised management models, including the management of fully consolidated companies and joint ventures
- Holistic responsibility for the office work of the committees within PowerCo Procurement
What you need for our CELLebration
- Completed technical/university degree or comparable qualification
- Experience/knowledge of the applicants:
- Expert knowledge of board governance and digitisation in the Volkswagen Group as well as the legal framework (e.g. stock corporation/corporate law, labour and tax law)
- Expert knowledge of the top decision-making cascades in the Group
- Practical experience in business office work and processes within procurement
- Business fluent in English
