The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of strategy are varied. The unit takes care of the development and implementation of the global PowerCo strategy. Our responsibilities vary from strategy development, market screening and business development to ramp-up of global PowerCo entities.

How you will CELLebrate

Tracking and evaluating global innovations and technology development on the market in battery cell area
Identifying cooperations areas and support technical evaluation together with relevant stakeholders at PowerCo and at Volkswagen Group
Developing and structuring strategic concepts and projects for PowerCo and steering cross-function strategic projects in the company
Evaluating and judging plausibility of business models and business plans on strategic cooperation projects
Ensuring close and smooth cooperation with internal and external stakeholders across regions, including governmental authorities and partner companies
Executing and steering of special projects

What you need for our CELLebration

Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in economics, economics/engineering or similar education
Several years working experience in cooperation management, project controlling, business model development and deep knowledge on corporate governance and operations
Knowledge on product and technology management and market knowledge on overall battery area
Fluent German and English language skills
Willingness to travel (both domestic and international)
Strong analytic, structuring and strategic competence
Proved competence in inter-cultural working environment, communication and presentation

What else can you bring

An international network with relevant stakeholders in battery area
Knowledge in further foreign languages (e.g. Chinese, Korean, or Japanese) will be a plus point
