The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
- Development and laboratory sample production of dry processed battery electrodes (DBE, Dry Battery Electrode)
- Structural and morphological analysis of electrode properties and correlation with the DBE process
- Evaluation of the electrochemical results and their data analysis and interpretation
- Development of specific analysis methods for dry-processed electrodes and cells
- Worldwide scouting and benchmarking of suppliers for specific DBE technology materials
- Management of projects with internal and external partners
What you need for our CELLebration
- Successfully completed master's degree in process/chemical/mechanical engineering, chemistry or similar education
- In-depth knowledge of electrochemical storage/lithium-ion batteries (materials, electrodes and cells)
- High awareness of cost, quality and process KPIs
- Above-average team and communication skills
- Business fluent in English
What else can you bring
- Previous experience with DBE technology or innovative manufacturing processes for battery electrodes desirable
- High level of self-initiative working
- Intercultural competence and confident manner in international projects
- Several years of practical experience in electrode or cell development for lithium-ion batteries
