The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
- Leading the coating process set-up for the mass production of cathode and anode electrodes
- Trouble-shooting for failures and defects
- Supporting the hot commissioning and SAT (site acceptance test) of the electrode production lines
- Supporting production ramp-up and improve yield rate
- Interfacing Planning, Production, Quality, Product Design and Equipment Supplier Teams to ensure product roll-out
What you need for our CELLebration
- 3+ years experience of electrode coating of lithium-ion cells in mass production scale
- Strong hands-on experience of roll-to-roll slot-die coating of Li-ion cell
- Strong hands-on experience in electrode measurement and characterization techniques
- Hands-on experience in statistical process control tools
- Knowledge in battery cell design and raw materials
What else can you bring
- Fluent English for technical and business communications
- Working experience in the multi-cultural company
- Proficiency in German is a plus
