The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Ensuring capacity provision in the long and medium term for selected component scopes over the entire lifecycle
  • Developing international capacity strategies with the relevant interface partners
  • Adapting capacity requirements to strategic supply risks and changing framework conditions
  • Managing the conflicting goals of maximising supply security and avoiding the costs of capacity adjustments
  • Participation in the further development of methods, procedures and benchmark analyses of existing capacity management concepts
  • Software-supported creation and evaluation of scenarios in the context of capacity hedging
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Degree in logistics, logistics planning, industrial engineering or a comparable specialisation or many years of experience in capacity management 
  • Professional experience in logistics, procurement and/or capacity management
  • Ability to work independently, strong analytical skills and strategic, entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Business fluent in English and willingness to travel internationally
