The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.
How you will CELLebrate
- Contact person in accounting for ICS, quality and risk management
- Consulting and support of internal interfaces for the optimization of accounting processes (e.g. current account)
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Current account support
- Regular review of the adequacy and effectiveness of accounting controls within the framework of the internal control system (ICS)
- Contact person for the continuous improvement process within accounting
- Modeling and ensuring that accounting processes are up to date with the help of Signavio, as well as creating and managing relevant documents and templates
- Participation in the development and structuring of processes for the new companies in the Battery division
What you need for our CELLebration
- Completed university degree in economics or completed commercial vocational training with comparable additional qualification
- Several years of practical professional experience in the finance/accounting department of an international industrial company
- Practical professional experience in the field of ICS, quality and risk management desirable
- High degree of initiative, problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team as well as a confident appearance
- Good to very good command of written and spoken English and German
What else can you bring
- Practical experience with SAP (especially SAP S/4 HANA)
- Practical experience in modeling processes according to BPMN 2.0 (Signavio) desirable
- Strong communication skills with a well-developed conceptual mindset
