The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of Corporate Quality are varied. The unit is responsible for all quality related activities of PowerCo SE ranging from the development of the quality strategy and targets over safeguarding the certification readiness to the global supplier management.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Quality support of the components in the development phase up to sampling and approval 
  • Cross-plant series support Quality of components at suppliers 
  • Assessment of suppliers in the award process with regard to their quality capability and production competence in coordination with the specialist purchasing department 
  • Controlling the quality requirements for the product and developing corrective measures to achieve the goals
  • Planning of cross-functional preventive quality work including audits in the supplier project and implementation of the relevant approval audits at suppliers
  • Responsible for the industrialization of the components at the supplier and securing the degree of maturity through on-site supplier visits
  • Cross-functional responsibility for the management and processing of corrective measures at the supplier in the event of a complaint
  • developing, coordinating and decision-making of overarching quality methods and concepts for the achievement of goals in the projects and in PowerCo SE 
  • Continuous communicating of the maturity development of the components in the PowerCo SE committees and at the supplier
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Completed studies in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, production engineering, materials science or comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in quality management and the automotive sector (ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3)
  • Knowledge in the field of supplier quality, support and auditing
  • Experience in the chemical industry
  • Experience in the field of electromobility and battery cells 
  • Above-average ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in English
  • Confident demeanor, assertiveness and initiative
  • Willingness to travel
 

What else can you bring

  • Certified VDA6.3 auditor
  • Solid knowledge in the field of structured error analysis/remediation (Six Sigma, Shainin) 
  • Extensive experience in the field of electromobility and the battery/battery cell
