The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
- Developing the best electrolytes for PowerCo's lithium-ion batteries
- Working closely with electrolyte suppliers, implementing development projects and partnerships
- Conducting electrolyte formulation studies, analysis and evaluation in test cells
- Supporting the implementation of new electrolytes into PowerCo's cells from material selection to production
- Scouting and analyzing technical trends, conducting literature and patent research
What you need for our CELLebration
- Completed technical/university studies in chemistry, electrochemistry, material science, physics, chemical engineering or comparable qualification
- Professional work experience in the development of electrolytes
- Expert knowledge in the development of electrolytes for lithium ion batteries
- Profound knowledge of battery cells and electromobility
- Strong ability to work in a team, also and above all willingness and desire to cooperate in an innovative and international environment
- Strong ability of self-organization and good communication skills

- PhD in the field of lithium-ion batteries desired
- Willingness to travel internationally
