The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the Product Management are varied. The unit is responsible for all activities relating to the development and industrialization of battery cells. Responsibilities range from the preparation of technology roadmaps and portfolio planning to volume and cycleplan planning and the holistic program management for global battery projects.
How you will CELLebrate
- Driving Company’s technology scouting activities to ensure technical competency and future success of PowerCo
- Soliciting and consolidating technical needs from internal organizations to bring innovations from performance and cost perspectives
- Researching, collecting, evaluating and analyzing global technical trends and innovations in lithium battery field
- Developing comprehensive database of advanced battery cell technologies and key players
- Coordinating and steering meetings with external stakeholders, including suppliers, start-ups, universities and research institutes
- Preparing and publishing reports and creating documents for management
What you need for our CELLebration
- PhD in science or engineering
- Deep understanding of battery materials and cell technologies in conventional lithium-ion and solid-state lithium (ion) battery field
- Hands-on experience in development of materials and cell architecture of electrochemical energy storage system
- Competence in the analysis and evaluation of technological innovations, including evaluation of Start-Ups and Intellectual Property
- Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams
- Business fluent in English
- Willingness to travel international (on Business Trips)
