The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Organize test and validation (mechanical cell and components): time schedule, resource planning, test results
  • Define test cases and test specifications for mechanical requirements on cell as well as components level
  • Work together with part owners from chemical and mechanical design teams
  • Develop test description for customer requirements and specifications
  • Select standard tests and develop new test descriptions to evaluate functional, chemical and safety properties of cell components and materials
  • Plan the test with testing teams or testlabs
  • Supervise test execution, review and evaluate test results
  • Evaluate compliance of battery cell components and materials with technical requirements
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree (or even PhD) in electrical, chemical, or mechanical engineering, (electro-)chemistry, or similar education
  • Sound knowledge in the areas of battery cells, cell components, and battery materials
  • Experience with project tasks in an international environment
  • Business fluent English language skills for our international team
 

What else can you bring

  • Professional experience in requirements management or test management is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Above-average ability to work in a team and enjoy working in an agile working environment
