The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Independently developing and coordinating design and development concepts
  • CAD design of ZSB battery cells and their subcomponents 
  • Checking the technical feasibility and manufacturability with consultants and suppliers within the framework of the compliance guidelines
  • Aligning design with battery component development, quality and manufacturing
  • Creating and evaluating mechanical simulations, properties and tolerance scales 
  • Developing Catia-based calculation tools to support and simplify the design of battery cells and their components as well as new technologies in cell design
  • Creating 3D cell models and drawings as well as the associated technical documentation 
  • Creating a BOM for prototype and series cells
  • Preparing and creating shareable CAD data and drawings for the milestones
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on design or similiar education
  • Professional experience in the field of CAD design
  • Professional experience in the field of battery cells, batteries or battery modules
  • Experience in creating templates and their presentation in committees  

  • Experience in materials science for metal and plastic

  • Very good know-how in Catia V5 and KVS/Connect
