The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
- Designing cells according to the specifications for the battery modules or cells
- Further developing models and methods for the detailed design of physical and chemical processes as well as components in battery cells
- Developing suitable measurement methods for testing cell behavior and validation of the design and parameter models
- Target-oriented comparison of cell technologies and development trends, taking into account other relevant cell parameters, and evaluation of the results
- Calculating key figures and design parameters as well as conducting technical supplier discussions
- Monitoring deadlines and costs, agreeing on technical solutions and documenting and presenting project results
- Cooperating with internal and external partners for the purpose of further and new development of cell formats
- Participating in conferences and trade fairs as well as supervision of student research projects and master's theses in the field of expertise
What you need for our CELLebration
- Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in electrochemistry, materials science, physics, electrical engineering or chemical engineering or similiar education
- Sound knowledge in the areas of battery cells, cell components, battery materials and battery systems
- Experience with project tasks in an international environment
- Business fluent English language skills for our international team
- High degree of initiative and flexibility
- Strong communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment
- Above-average ability to work in a team and enjoy working in an agileworking environment
