The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Leading cell development projects for next generation Li-Ion battery cell chemistry
  • Scheduling, coordinating and evaluating of cell tests with internal and external partners (electrical, environmental, safety and mechanical tests)
  • Evaluating the performance and cell design of new materials and cell technologies
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Cooperating and steering of internal and external development partners
  • Communicate with external partners to work on specifications as book of requirements

 

 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, mechanics, electrical engineering or similar education
  • In-depth knowledge in battery cells, electrodes and materials
  • In-depth knowledge in test, quality and fault management
  • Business fluent English language skills
  • High degree of personal initiative and engagement
 

What else can you bring

  • Knowledge in automotive industries
  • Higher education related to lithium ion batteries, e.g. a PhD in the field
  • Excellent ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • High analytical competence
  • Great communications, organization and project management skills
