The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
How you will CELLebrate
- Developing and implementing data management processes in procurement to ensure high data quality and integrity
- Coordinating and aligning with various departments to support and improve data-driven decision-making
- Acting as the interface between procurement departments and the analytics team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Leading the Data Management Working Group, a cross-functional team responsible for collecting and defining data use cases
- Monitoring and analyzing data flows to identify weaknesses and leverage optimization potentials
- Leading and supporting projects for the implementation of new data management tools and technologies
- Creating and maintaining data standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Training and supporting employees in handling data management systems and processes
- Acting as the interface to the Data Board together with your supervisor to support and implement strategic decisions
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal compliance guidelines
What you need for our CELLebration
- A degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration with a focus on IT, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data management and/or IT environment
- High affinity for data and analytics
- High IT affinity and project management skills
- Strong skills in process design and optimization
- Experience with data management tools and technologies
- Deep understanding of data quality, data integrity, and data compliance
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
What else can you bring
- Knowledge in master data management in procurement
- Experience in the implementation and use of SAP modules in procurement
- Knowledge of modern data management technologies and trends
- Project management experience and knowledge in agile methods
- Certifications in data management or related fields are desirable
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and innovation in data management
