The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Detailed planning of serial lines for recycling of production scrap in our Gigafactories starting from first concepts until commissioning and hand-over ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
  • Technical preparation for purchasing of equipment, e.g. requirements specification, requests for quotation, assessments of offers and resulting decision papers 
  • Technology scouting and evaluation, developing partnerships and  benchmarking of recyclers or equipment manufacturers
  • Developing Recycling Standards, Tools, Processes, Guidelines, etc.
  • Continuous improving of state-of-the-art processes to optimize product quality, minimize production costs and reduce emissions
  • Cooporative work in interdisciplinary teams
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Graduate Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related field 
  • Deep experience in equipment planning preferably related to Recycling or similar Mechanochemical Processing
  • Profound Knowledge of battery production or recycling processes
  • Team player with strong communication skills in an international environment  
  • Proficiency in business English
  • As part of your job you are required to travel nationally and internally
  • High cost awareness, negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Experienced with MS Office applications
