(Senior) Expert Project Management Recycling (all genders)

The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 

  
 
How you will CELLebrate

• Lead interdisciplinary projects to develop, adapt, evaluate and plan external and internal recycling standard solutions taking into account strategic goals as well as cost, time and quality targets
• Develop, propose and coordinate the implementation of Group-wide organizational structures, processes, tools, procedures, standards and lessons learned in the field of recycling 
• Sub-project management for recycling in PowerCo’s rollout projects with responsibility for operational planning and control of milestone achievement as well as processing and coordination of the processing of work packages for the realization of external and internal recycling solutions 
• Assess, interpret and ensure the application of new technologies, external and internal regulations and standards in your own area of Responsibility
• Establish and nurture partnerships with recycling entities, involving activities such as scouting potential partners, conducting comprehensive technical and commercial evaluations, negotiating agreements, and managing supplier
• Lead Business Development Activities (Make or Buy Decisions, Partnerships, Technology, Benchmarking) in the field of Recycling 

  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • Graduate Degree in Economics, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related field 
  • Several years of experience in managing project in the chemical or automotive industry
  • Team player with strong communication skills in an international environment  
  • proficiency in business English
  • High cost awareness, negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Experienced with MS Office applications
  
 
What else can you bring
  • Pioneering mindset with flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments
  • Fluent in German or Chinese or Spanish
  • knowledge of  battery & battery recycling market trends, players, processes, technologies
  • experience with recycling regulations and industry standards
